Welcome to my Blog
Hi, My name is Bretta Loeffler. I teacher first grade in Thornton, Colorado. I have been teaching for 20+ years. I have spent the majority of that time in the primary grades. My passion is teaching students to love literacy. I have my Masters Degree in Literacy. In addition, to loving literacy I also love technology. I have learned so much in a few short years about the use of technology as tool in the classroom. Right now my students all have an iPad that they use daily and get to take it home for the 24/7 learning experience. Each and everyday I learn something new about technology. I plan to share as much of that as I can.
I have 2 wonderful sons and a terrific and understanding husband. They help me do so many things for my classroom.
I hope that we all can help each other out in this wonderful field of teaching. Together we can make things better.
